About Pro Expert Consult

Pro Expert Consult was founded in 2020 with the aim of providing highly qualified professional services in accident reconstruction, vehicle valuation and damage assessment on vehicles, together with related services in mechanical engineering, transport, motor vehicles and working equipment.

The shortage of trained specialists in the markets of the region, above all in engineering, created a space that we used to build the company. We brought our education, knowledge and experience into the work with a large number of companies and private clients.

Over time the range of services has grown, exactly as the market and our clients have required.

Behind us there are more than 15 years of team experience and over 15,000 completed vehicle valuations, damage reports and expert assignments. We work with corporate groups and companies in Serbia and in Europe. Our reports are used by private clients, law firms, transport companies, companies running fleets, correspondent insurers in Europe, leasing companies and banks. Our findings, valuations and reports regularly serve as the technical basis in proceedings of many different kinds.

What working with us gives you

The main benefit of working with us is that we take the side processes off your hands, so that you can concentrate fully on your core business.

We explain the procedure as simply as possible and deal with our clients requests quickly and professionally.

We are glad to welcome new clients, and we value the existing ones, with many of whom we have worked for years.

For clients outside Belgrade we have developed the remote video assessment: you receive a link, you allow access to the camera, and our expert guides you live through the recording of the damage, with no travel and no waiting for an appointment on site.

Why an independent assessment of damage and value

When damage occurs, the assessment is usually made by an expert who arrives on behalf of the insurer. To be clear about it: the assessors working for insurers are good professionals, but they too work for whoever instructs them and according to the rules that the client sets, and that client is the company that is going to pay the claim. Insurers often apply their own calculation methodology and their own rules. At that moment your interest and the interest of the insurer are not the same. Equally, clients sometimes expect entitlements they do not have, or hold clearly inflated expectations.

An independent assessment means that the report and the technical opinion are prepared by a professional who does not stand on either side. Our report contains a documented and generally accepted methodology, which is why it is used in negotiations and proceedings with insurers, in court proceedings, and in dealings with banks, leasing companies and tax authorities.

Most often we are called when the amount offered seems too low, when a total loss has been declared on the vehicle, when the course of the accident or the responsibility of those involved is disputed, or when the value of a vehicle has to be established before a sale, before taking out a comprehensive policy, or in order to determine a tax base.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. You have the right to instruct an independent expert and to attach that report to your claim. Our report contains a documented methodology and comparable market data, so it can be used in the further procedure with the insurer and in court.

The first step is an independent damage report showing whether and how far the amounts differ and where the difference comes from. With that report you can ask for the settlement to be reviewed, and if the dispute continues, it is the basis for the further procedure.

It is paid for by whoever orders it. You receive the price before the work starts, and it does not change afterwards unless the scope changes with your prior agreement. In court proceedings the court decides on the costs.

Yes. We regularly cover the whole of Vojvodina and the wider Belgrade area, as well as Valjevo, Aranđelovac, Topola, Velika Plana, Smederevo, Požarevac and Niš with the surrounding region. We have an employed expert in Novi Sad, a colleague in Niš and a team of experts in Belgrade.

Yes, through the remote video assessment. You receive a link, you allow access to the camera and the microphone, and our expert guides you live through the recording of the damage. If damage to the load bearing structure is suspected, we require a physical inspection.

In the areas we cover permanently we give appointments without a long wait, and for urgent cases there is a priority appointment for an additional fee. We agree the exact date as soon as you describe the case to us. The call centre and assistance are available all seven days from 09 to 17. The fastest option is the video assessment, which is possible within a few hours and at most one working day.
