value<\/h2><p>Three terms are mixed up in practice although they mean different things.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Catalogue value:<\/strong> the standardised value of a model, read from the catalogue, with depreciation for age already included.<\/li><li><strong>Market value:<\/strong> the amount that can actually be obtained for this particular object on the market.<\/li><li><strong>Assessed value:<\/strong> the result of the expert examination, starting from the catalogue value and corrected for condition, equipment level, mileage, origin and market situation.<\/li><\/ul><h2>What influences the value of a particular vehicle<\/h2><ul><li>the actual mileage compared with the average for the year of manufacture<\/li><li>the equipment level, which can differ considerably within the same model name<\/li><li>previous damage and the quality of the repair<\/li><li>the origin of the vehicle and the number of previous owners<\/li><li>the condition of the mechanics and the bodywork, corrosion, service history<\/li><li>current demand for that model on the market<\/li><\/ul><h2>Valuation of working machines and equipment<\/h2><p>Here other factors count than with a passenger car: operating hours, condition and working order, the type of maintenance and the way the machine has been used. The catalogue contains certain models of working machines and equipment, but not every brand and sub type on the world market. For models that are not included, price lists from importers, invoices for the purchase of new machines and customs documents serve as the basis.<\/p><h2>Valuation for leasing, banks and accounting<\/h2><p>We prepare reports that are submitted to banks, leasing companies and auditors. What matters there is not only the amount, but the explanation of how it was reached.<\/p><h2>Vehicle value and insurance<\/h2><p>When a comprehensive policy is taken out, the insurer starts from the value of the vehicle at the time the contract is concluded. If that value is set too high, you pay a higher premium than necessary. If it is set too low, you receive less than you are entitled to when a claim occurs. You receive a link, you allow access to the camera, and the expert records the condition, the interior, the mileage and the identification details remotely. The following factors apply:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Distance and location:<\/strong> an inspection in Belgrade and an inspection in the interior of the country are not the same amount of work.<\/li><li><strong>Urgency:<\/strong> a report on the same day means rescheduling appointments that are already booked.<\/li><li><strong>Number of objects:<\/strong> valuing one vehicle and valuing a whole fleet are different tasks, and with a larger number the price per vehicle falls.<\/li><li><strong>Type of object:<\/strong> a car, a truck, a bus, a working machine or agricultural equipment require a different amount of examination and different data sources.<\/li><li><strong>Type of report:<\/strong> it makes a difference whether you need the value for your own orientation or whether the report goes to a bank, a leasing company, the tax authority or a court, where a more fully documented methodology is required.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>You receive the price before the work starts, and it does not change afterwards<\/strong>, unless the scope changes with your prior agreement.
